Haha! I got you all beat I got mine 94 for 3K with no engine. Small body damage in the rear quarter but other than that it was perfect.

wow nice car my fds also got high milage 156k. On its second engine i payed 12000 for mine though. How many miles are on the new engine?

i bought my 94 touring for $4k with blown motor. since i was replacing the motor it got a 5-speed conversion. payed the salvage yard 3.5k for engine, trans,diff, starter, driveshaft, instrument cluster....then sold the auto for $500. the chassis had 150k miles but now with rebuilt turbos, rebuilt 5-speed and everythind else i've done, i have a hell of a car for under 15 large.

I did that too, except with 9g's For that one moment you have it, you feel very...VERY powerful...then it's all lost, and they feel the power.
