Unhappy Pics...FD Broken Into

Estimated loss is a little over $1,000. I'm just happy that it wasn't a professional that broke into my car.

I just love this pic, so I'll just upload it to make me feel a little better.

Yeah, what'd they take? What's the $1000 dollars of damage in regards to (besides the broken window)?

It almost looks like you were just a victim of some vandalism.

The thing is, there appears to be a club in the car...

Either way, having your car vandalised is horrible.

They could have avoided that whole broken window issue with a screw driver and some needle noses. Too bad. Doesn't look like anything is missing

A professional would have taken my entire RX-7. I'm just happy that the task was done by a novice. The window and door handle is destroyed. Speakers, CDs, and amps were stolen. They could have easily stolen a lot of items, however, there might have been a car passing by at the time. I'm sure something scared them away while they were in my FD for them not to take anything else.

Yes I saw that also, but I thought it was a brake/clutch club or something like that the locks onto the pedals.

damn man, sorry to hear..

when did it happen? parked at a friends house? your house? or for a short trip to a store or something? and do you have an alarm?

i always assumed most of us FD guys have indoor garages or a driveway..i have a huge *** driveway with my car parked closest to the house with cars always blocking it..thats why it sucks when i wanna use the car because i have to move all other cars that are blocking it lol

I'm the original owner and never had any problems prior to this incident. I live in a great neighborhood were I would leave my windows open during the entire day and not have to worry.

Also, there is the club type devise attached to the brake pedal. I wasn't home that evening when they broke into my FD. I would have loved to kick their ***.

As for the rims, they are custom 18" Racing Hart 3-piece rims.

One method to have the Momo steering wheel work for an FD is to use the 2nd gen RX-7 Momo hub. All you have to do is just unplug the ABS light and attach the wire to have the horn work.

Thanks for the compliments.

I've always turned my system way down when getting ready to park in a questionable area. I've always heard that some theives will sit in lots just waiting for someone to pull in and park bumpity-bumping all the way.

It's a good way to tell if they have a decent system, eh?

In any case that sucks, I hope your deductible isn't too high.

Jay:

Sorry to hear that..... You should set up a motion detection devise to record the thieves for next time... You know there will be a next time cause they know where you live..... Then one day you go to the supermarket and you see the ***** that broke into your car and BANG!!! You sneak up behind him with the biggest glass bottle of ketchup upside his head.... Ketchup all over the place!.... Then you hear in the store speaker, CLEAN UP ON ISLE 7..... lol

I hope you catch those BASTARDS!
