Are you asking what they took? Or are you calling B.S. on the stuff being worth more than a thousand dollars?

I have amps that cost more than a thousand dollars.

In any case, good luck getting the car back to its former glory.

I'm working on setting up two motion sensor cameras and adding a few more upgrades on my security system on my FD. If it happens again, I'll have them recorded and hit them over the head with a ketchup bottle.

It's too bad that we can't have anything nice without having to worry.

Thanks for all the support and compliments!

****....i hate when someone broke into other people's car. damn, those f**kers should be put behind jail for 50 years. The worst thing of all when someone broke into your car will be seing the money, time and the effort you took going down the drain.
It happens to me once too on my FC and my luck is not that good though as they took away my amp, cd changer, boost controller, AFC and my wheels.

I have a hard time leaving my car anywhere. Its such a magnet and I am extremely paranoid after having my Acura a couple of years ago jacked and stripped. I restored it and then sold it, Two weeks later stolen again, for good this time. Bitch *** criminals, like Herblenny said, just want to set up a camera and a ******* arcing taser inside the car. I though of waiting and sleeping in the car until those ******* tried again and surprise. Just ended up consuming me, waking up in the middle of the night and ****. It really is not a good feeling. I have had almost every one of my cars broken into. That sucks gentlemen.

Wow...sorry to hear that man. I know it hurts inside, but like others have said, you have a LOT to be thankful for. If you gave me about 30 seconds w/ your car (assuming I was a thief), I'm sure I can prob run with at least $5K worth of stuff. It's all in plain view in your pics.

Oh and that "club thing on the brake" is called AutoLock. Works great.

Hate to break it to ya, but if you think that crap is gonna stop someone who's determined, gimme your address, and call me when you don't find your car in the morning. I'll just straight tow it to my place, and deal w/ the alarm here, in the privacy of my garage Alarms are worthwhile for one thing: keyless entry and window rolldown modules Any thief who knows what he's doing can disable your alarm in under 30 seconds (if that long). And those guys aren't frightened by a little siren. They're gutsy as hell. BIGGEST mistake you can make when it comes to security is ... yup, you guessed it: feel secure

~Ramy

PS: If you want something that will actually help, get a GPS system or LoJack Early Recovery System that can be remotely activated to track your vehicle when it's stolen...that way you can actually recover the vehicle. Otherwise, your Viper alarm will just end up on Ebay when the guy's parting out your car on Ebay

amen,if someone wants to jack your car, nothings gonna stop them
alarm, club, clutch lock, fuel cut off switch...all just make its a bit harder to steal.
but unless you got that wheel hub lock...still leaves them an option of stealing it on the spot. theres no way you can prevent a theft...unless you're in the car
honestly...when i walk through a parking lot and a car alarm goes off, i dont even look in the direction its coming from...alarm sirens these days are all the same.
they should make one with a girl moaning...u get attention no time

he is right. Making it harder for someone to steal it by using as many tricks as you can is a good idea. It won't keep it from being stolen. The screaming girl siren would be hot, great idea. It might cause too many false alarms though. The low jack is a great plan and now there are two way paging capabilities. Some will call your cell phone if it is being tampered with. Other than that, get a garage and lock it up.

My girls car was vandilized last week. I know who did it. Lets just say hes in the hospital recovering from some wounds. I hear stab wounds take a lil longer to heal =).

This is becuase he accusesed me of stealing his sound system off his rx-7. Now he has No car to put a sound system in. Wink:

Sorry to hear about that, it always breaks my heart when some lowlife does something so callous to another's prized possession

What kind of seats are those, they look nice. Are they relatively comfortable and how's the fitment.

Not to go off topic too far, but I wouldn't waste money on these GPS-based alarm systems. GPS requires line of sight with a minimum amount of the sky in order to get positional fix; at least Lojack uses radio frequency transmission. If you haven't activated the GPS receiver and the thief has already moved your car into a garage or any enclosed area, GPS is useless.

EDIT: Whoops, didn't notice that you mentioned this same thing in the "best alarm" thread...
