Pics and dimensions of Large SMIC

Has anyone got any naked pics and dimensions of any large SMIC's. I am looking at converting one of these to water to air use. This would obviously require a little more fabrication, but will not require me to have air flowing over the core. (Thus the radiator and intake will get everything. I am particuarly after the room around (Front / rear) the cores. If I can modify a prefabbed smic it will work out significantly cheaper I think than devoloping the entire unit from scratch...

All the pics I have found so far show shrouds etc in place already.

Thanks in advance.

The dimensions for the ASP medium are 12.55"x11.55"x3.5". For the ASP large, 12.55"x17"x3.5". (core dimensions)

For the Greddy SMIC, 16"x10.5"x4". (core dimensions)

Dimensions for the Pettit medium are 10.5"x10"x3.5". Pettit large dimensions are 18"x12"x3.5". (core dimensions)

All of those SMIC's are over a grand besides the Greddy, which I think is discontinued anyways. Besides, those cores are probably way to large, and i'm not even sure you could use them as an air-water intercooler very efficiently. They are designed to be used as an air-air, not air-water. Your best bet is to get a Spearco or PWR air-water intercooler and start there. It'd also end up being cheaper by just starting off with an air-water intercooler.

Oh, and all those dimensions can be found at http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/index.html found in the FAQ thread in this section. For the list of dimensions and "naked" pictures, go here: http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/i...olers.html#ICP Scroll down a bit for the pictures.

Thanx heaps for that info! Invaluable...

The PWR barrels, wont fit where I want unfortunately, and the spearco cores arent exactly cheap either...

Saying that nothing I seem to want ever turns out well priced...*grin*
