Picking up another FD - opinions? Good and Bad...you tell me.

Here are some details.

Car needs ECU, Turbo Kit, Intercooler, downpipe.

93xxx on Chassis
Clean Title
Fluidyne Radiator
Racing Hart C2 3-Peice Wheels (18's)
New Tires
Brembo Slotted Rotors (not on car yet)
Mazda Reman 5000 miles on it
Original Tranny
Lots of money into Paint
Apexi Front Bumper
RE-A Sides and Rear
Midpipe
Black Leather Interior
93-Touring Model, no sunroof.

Just want to know what people think it's worth. It needs about $5000 worth of stuff if I wanted to make it a 400hp streetable vehicle. I could leave the engine as is and throw a 35r kit on there with a PFC, larger injectors and pump.

throw me some input I'd like to hear it

Looks like a Base or R1 model, not touring.

No sunroof, that makes sense.

well that should be a good deal and I kinda like the blue. Beside if you leave this close to stock you will have a good daily driver. So did you ever get your old FD fixed?

Not a bad looking car. However, I'm always suspicious of unfinished/abandoned projects. Can you verify that the engine is still good?

I'm pretty excited. I got this one coming and my new motor going in my red FD in the new few weeks. Debating on throwing all my stuff in this one and throwing a different kit on the red one... we'll see. Maybe I can keep one of them more streetable since my KAI kit is nothing but trouble.

Personally, that color is too much. What is he asking for? A car without a sunroof is perfect for track. Get the 35R and install a 5 point roll cage and coilovers, you're good to go.

Without doing the compression test myself, then no. But he took down the project to go single and never finished it. He has receipts for motor, and I know for a fact it never ran with the single. The motor isn't really too much of an issue at this point... but I hope for the best =)

Motor is being built right now... this one is going to be a monster. Also switching ECU's among other things.

I've thought about that...I've never been a huge fan of the chameleon colors but this one is done very well and I do like it.

In the process of getting ahold of a cage...

As far as price, I'll devuldge that after the FD is delivered =P

Racing Harts are hard to come by nowadays. I like where your head is at.

Good luck.

I got another set of them... but they need repair. Can't find anyone that will repair a split rolled lip.
