Picked up my car from KDR - BNR dyno sheet - need host (long)

Hey guys, I picked up my car from KDR today and have the dyno sheet - I just need someone I can email it to so they can host it. When I got up there, Dave had some "news" about my dyno numbers - I could imagine that it would be bad since I've had everything else in the past 2-3 years be bad for my FD world But it turned out great. My best dyno run at 15 psi was 366 rwhp (thought it was 370 but was wrong) This is the long part...

Dave was dynoing a single FD not too long ago and it pulled continous 440-450 rwhp - then the last run it dropped to 380 rwhp. Another guy who has consistent 378-382 rwhp runs on different dynojets dynoed recently at KDR and only pulled 330 rwhp. They found something was wrong with the calibration equipment and made some adjustments but was still dynoing stock healthy FDs at 195-200 rwhp - about 15-20 rwhp short - he's getting his dyno fixed this Wed - but my 366 is actually short 15-20 rwhp since all of the FDs he has up there are dynoing about this amount lower at this point. He wants me to dyno again but I'm not going to for a while. So I'm around 380-385 rwhp at 15 psi..SWEET!

Couldn't be happier with the car. The primary spools like a banshee! I have 12 psi by 2500 rpms and 15 psi by 2800 rpms (sequential) I forgot how much fun sequential is. You'll eventually see that I basically have no transition. Unfortuantely, KDRs rpm indicator is down and it shows mph instead so if anyone can figure out what my hp is at what rpm I would appreciate it.

Barry, glad to see the car's back in good health and running great. That's amazing about the turbos spool-up, generating that much psi at low rpms. Still selling the car?

My guess:

2.6krpm=050
3.3krpm=150
4.0krpm=170
4.6krpm=250
5.3krpm=320
6.0krpm=330
6.6krpm=340
7.3krpm=360

What would suck is if it was the dyno being way out of scale back when Barry's car made only 300 rwhp or so no matter what psi and he paid for a new differential

it.
Im happy you got your car, but Dave has been trying this same bullshit excuse for almost 2yrs. Fact is, he doesn't have a clue on how to tune especially single turbo cars. He's blown more engines than not.

No, I saw my old differential. The thrust washers on both sides were trashed. It was just one of those weird things that doesn't happen very often and I'm glad everything worked out. Dave did 15 runs with my car at 10 psi up to 15 psi and there was a 40 hp jump at 13 psi as soon as he switched out diffs. It's all behind me and now I have an amazing car that's incredibly streetable. Even 5th gear isn't uesless like it was when I was non-seq. 380 rwhp running sequential with a HF cat is exactly where I wanted to be. Looking at other dynoes, my power just drops off at 110 mph which is I guess about 6.0-6.5K rpms which is typical of a HF cat - I know with a midpipe my power would go over 400 at 15 psi.

Ernie, I know you and Dave have had your differences, but I do know it's not all on his end... He's great with twin turbos and most of his client base is now single turbo. He's cut me a lot of breaks so don't rain on everyone's parade just because you two don't get along...

Incredible numbers Barry, especially considering you have a hi-flow cat. Your spool-up seems very fast. I'm glad you finally got the car how you want it. In my mind, this is simply more evidence against ever going single. Looks like you and Artguy will be pretty close, numbers and drivability wise.

Yeah, I think artguy's car will pull down higher numbers since he's running a midpipe and higher boost - but I think the BNR stage 2s spool almost as quick as the M2s - pretty close - I was amazed when I hit the gas in 3rd gear at about 2500 rpms..I am used to non-seq and at this rpm it is a complete dog but my boost gauge just shot to 12 psi and the car just exploded down the road- Dave tuned the transition out since there really isn't even a hesitation - very slight. Dave just dynoed some Pettit upgrades which I think he said are made by T.E.C. and they put down close to 380 rwhp non-seq with mods similar to mine and 15-16 psi.

Sounds like things are getting better and better for those of us few who want to keep the stock twins.

Glad to hear Barry and with a HF cat at that. SO, are you keeping it?

Thats really good to hear kwikrx7. Your mods are very close to what I want to have on my car by end of summer or so. Good to know what kind of power i should be getting. Have you taken it to a track anytime recently?

I'm still selling the car, but not until I blow some cars of choice away - I had the car out today and it felt pretty strong. I don't plan on taking it to the track anytime soon - I just need to fix some paint issues and the car will be for sale. I already have someone interested now for $22K in my area - we'll see. It's definitely a fun car though.

I'm confused - the second turbo kicks at 65 mph AND you rev to 115. What gear did you dyno? And do you have a stock rear-end?

With stock 4.10s, transition happens above 80 mph in 4th. So kwikrx7 is running 5.20s? Sounds unlikely to me, though it matches with 115 mph near redline. These numbers look more like someone running 3.90s with really tall tires.
