You should get it covered in suede or leather.

you should go back to the 2nd Gen. Forum or the Lounge!

j/k...

i was actually thinking about that. he could cover it in leather or suede, and it will look cooler. but, that would have been a big waste of money, since you could get leather/carbon fiber or seude/carbon fiber steering wheels for $500 less than what he paid for.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the input.

Got a lot out of it, especially the fact that the wheel doesn't blend in with the plastic steering column shroud. Looks like that will have to go carbon-fibre too!

I'm after some lightweight carbon bucket seats, carbon dash trim and a carbon shifter.

Everyone's right about the wheel getting slippy when the weather's hot, but living in London, England, I only have to worry about that for 2 weeks a year

Also going for a carbon tri-plane rear wing, front splitter and the lightest set of 17s I can find.

Nice one, nice one!
Steve

i don't think the CF looks bad, it would actually look sweet if he gets a CF interior thing going and a center cap,

the really don't like the DESIGN of the wheel, if that makes sense, but it doesn't look bad, and its you car
