PFS Race SMIC vs. ASP Large

What are your guys opinions on a PFS Race SMIC versus a ASP Large SMIC for single turbo?

I've run both (well I'm not too sure how the race differs in construction than the small) on a single turbo. You can see in the first picture I even added a fan to try and lower charge temps with the PFS unit. I ran the PFS IC up in the 18-19psi range on a 60-1 turbo with a dummy water injection system and I would still see AIT's in the 150F range at the top of 4th gear (note I had a single stock oil cooler). The PFS unit allows for a battery or electric air pump in the engine bay...that is probably the only advantage.

Since my first single set-up I'm currently running dual 25 row oil coolers, a GT3574 Turbo, and a one off M2 IC set-up (extremely similar to the ASP large). One surprise is the weight difference, with thin aluminum end tanks and pipes (vs cast) and a carbon fiber duct...my new set-up despite being larger weighs less. I've seen more than a 25F drop in AIT's and I haven't added water/meth yet (still breaking in new engine/tranny/turbo etc). My cold pipe is cool to the the touch after spirited driving where as before both sides were hot.

The PFC Race SMIC is extremely similar to the M2 large (or ASP Large)... just a little bit smaller lenght wise.

I will be running a M2 intake box, so size was an issue. My battery is relocated though.

I found a good deal on the PFC Race and dont really want to shell out $1450 for the ASP large
