Pfs Maps
Hey guys, I was looking into the pfs piggyback ecu and was wondering how do I exactly plug in maps and where do I get them? I know this should belong in the ecu section but that section is so dead. I know most of you would tell me to get m2,pettit or even pfc, but I have an auto and would like to maintain my hold function. Thanks in advance
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

can't load maps...the only map you need to change is the WOT map for max boost (fuel/ign). I haven't looked at the manual for it in a long time...so, sorry I'm not much help.
IIRC, there is only 8 cells you need to "tune" 4 for fuel and 4 for ignition...ignition is easy, generally every psi over stock, retard timing 1 degree. Fuel, you should have a WB reading.
if you are running 10psi, every cell should read 0. <---at least that will get you started, then you can change the boost settings when ready to add fuel.
This piggy back is great at controlling seq twins and holding boost. I ran 12-13psi (pri-sec) and made 301rwhp.
I recommend running the primary 1psi lower than the secondary turbo...reason: there are vent values for the WG (learn function should be on when tuning and off when boost is solid)...venting 12psi on a single turbo is different than venting 12psi from both, this will make you and the computer happier.
find the manual online and start reading...and I hope you have the commander.
good luck

Dubulup is right, the only map you need to make adjustments on is the boost map. There is a base map floating around on one of the FAQ sites that is horribly done and causes you to run pig rich. With my mods, intake, downpipe, midpipe and catback I adjusted the boost map to run a max of 8% more fuel and for every PSI over 10 retarded one degree of timing.
Disclaimer: To each thier own
But remember, until you break 10 psi you don't need to add fuel, the 3 mod rule is bogus and has been proven multiple times via wideband and a dyno.
I don't have the link on me, but check out Wade Lanham's site, it has excelent info on the PMS.
