PFS Intercooler questions

I have a PFS SMIC, along with the corresponding intake that gets the air from the IC duct. I have also a cutout in the bottom of the intake box to pull air from the same place an M2 box would. Ive had this on for a while now, no issues, but recently Ive seen other pictures of this intercooler, and there are threaded holes in the endtanks where the shroud is supposed to bolt to. Well, my IC doesnt have these holes Did they make an early version without the threaded holes? I bought it used, so Im not sure. Also, I tried searching but didnt come up with much, so I wanted to ask if this intercooler would be good to ~16psi on a single or upgraded stock turbos (BNRs)? Im planning my next round of modifications while the car is still garaged for the winter, and just want to know if my intercooler will still do its job, or I will need to upgrade that as well. Here is a quick pic, thanks:

Where mounting holes for the duct should be, mine doesnt have them:

You must have an early sample or something....just seal the duct to the IC as best you can. I'm running 15 psi through the PFS...Steve Kan said it was fine and that's good enough for me. I'm sure the intake temps would be slightly cooler with a bigger SMIC, but I'm not relocating the battery or going to a mini-batt to fit one.

Lenny, please PM me ASAP regarding which shock was damaged so I can get that taken care of for you....

Thanks, I wouldnt run a FMIC, but was considering the RE V-mount if my SMIC wasnt sufficient. I will PM you in a few hours about the shock, I just need to swing by my garage after work so I can check out which one it was.

I also run this IC. I have it modified for a small single turbo (I think eliminating the two 90 deg bends on the turbo side helps flow some)...I run a little more boost than it is recommended for, and I have had zero problems. I also run WI.

Adam Sawatari(sp?) ran his FD in the 10's with this intercooler back in the day. Probably not optimal, but it can handle some boost.
I plan on using mine with a small single I just purchased.
