PFC temp guage

I have a PFC and a commander. Is the water temp guage accurate enough that I dont need to buy another one? It seems that it keeps fairly good real time numbers. Thanks for any help

I've had the PFC and a Defi water temp gauge and they are always within a couple degrees of each other. So yeah, it's good enough.

Depends on your car. Mine runs between 84-87 Celsius. On the hottest day so far in Gainesville FL at 97, and running in town stop go traffic I hit 87. Highway 84.

Some FMIC guys I know have temps at 94-99.

keep in mind 90C is only 194F, i don't think the thermostat opens fully until like 205 and fans on full till past that.

On a stock FD, the thermostat begins opening at 180F (82 C). The fans don't turn on until 221F (105 C). For long term longevity, I would prefer to have temps in the 190-200 F range (87-93 C), but with a stock fan control set-up, you WILL see up to 221 in stop-and-go traffic.

Side note: Fan mods does a great job controlling temps in stop/go traffic.

My temps are around 85-95 celcius on the greddy gauge and the PFC. I run Evans coolant though, it tends to run a bit hotter.

Same here, despite the F to C conversion the PowerFC and my Defi gauge are always consistent.
