I would say keep it at 10 psi until you get it tuned and get the IC. you can run 12 psi on the stock IC, but I would say its not the best thing to do. even if the PFC you are ordering is tuned for your specific mods when you order it, it will probly still run rich as hell. I know mine did.

i would say 12psi with the stock ic would be ok, as long as the pfc is tuned for those mods

Every car is different. If tuned right you could probably go up to 15 on the stock IC. I did and had NO issues what so ever. I was hitting 97% cycles. Some would say that's too high, others that if it's not 100%, you have room to grow. Tuning in any case is key.

I have been doing that. I'm running on high boost setting of PFC w/ stock IC right now.

Running high boost levels on the stock IC is bad for two reasons:

*high intake temps are hard on the motor and increase chances of detonation
*high pressure drop of stock IC makes your turbos run extremely hard to make high boost levels -- raising engine temps and shortening life of the turbos

does anyone know if peter ferral will tune a pfc, and if he does how much does he charge? he is the closest fd tuner to me next to KDR which is like 8 hours away i think.
thanks,

it depends on what stock map you get. don't run someone elses car's map unless you have verified their mods and A/F at boost, even then if they have the same mods factor in a possible .5+/- change on your car.

depending on how old it is, if you "init all date" or reset the maps, it might go back to a "base stock" map instead of a "base mod" map. base mod is great but you don't want base stock.

if you get a NEW PFC from the rx7store like i just did, i'd assume it will have the 5.08 map, in which case it will be safe for your mods and 12 psi.
