PF Supercars Boost Gauge Issue
I have one of these on my car that the previous owner installed. It's a nice piece and has a steering column mount which I quite like.
However, the unit has a screw loose. Literally. Inside the front clear viewing glass I can see that one of the screws in there has vibrated itself loose and now it's just banging around in there.
I've removed the gauge but I can't seem to get it open. Any ideas?

I've had the whole thing apart a long time ago... if you get the back off, everything (including the "glass") is just a stack that should pull out IIRC.

Secondly you will never get Ray Wilson to pick up the phone or even respond to this since he is a engine builder, fabricator and tuner.
Thirdly ,
PFS parts are not supported by his shop since they were from when Peter owned the business.
Not so smart now smartie pants! Lol

And I did try and call them but as someone else mentioned; they didn't pick up the phone. I did leave a message though.

^This is my thought but the philips screw just turns and turns...doesn't come out. The two larger bolts seem to not really be holding on the back. Not really sure how the back comes off. The body appears to be billet aluminum though. And I did try and call them but as someone else mentioned; they didn't pick up the phone. I did leave a message though.

See there's a bunch of pins (or tiny screws?) around the outer circumference of the case? These hold the plastic end cap on. If they are pins (which I think they are), you need to drill them out, or if they are screws you need to use one of those tiny eyeglass screwdrivers.

Once I drilled out the little rivet things I was able to make short work of it. The whole assembly slides right out. However, I discovered (while sliding it out) that there were two OTHER screws inside the casing that had come completely loose. Naturally, these were nearly microscopic in size and they immediately fell onto the garage floor before I even had a chance to see what they looked like.
Miraculously, I found both of them. Once I put all 3 screws in the gauge and tightened them down I used a bit of silicone to secure the rear of the housing. Good as new. In case you wanted to know what it looks like in there I took a few pictures.

Glad to read that you saved it.
