I am about to change to unlimited chip in my pettit ecu, the problem is that I dont know wich one on with place.

I got 2 different chips.

FDB1972.wk4 and
RX70844.PCI .

Once you take the cover off you will see the Limited chips you have now are also marked with a (.wk) and something else. I forgot which one goes where but If you search, I posted it when I did mine.

I think you are more in to finish there, you should know that there are not any FD:s in finland and they always use trippel K:s and I:s´.

Why do you have 3 chips in the box? If the one without the sticker is nothing, then you should throw the PCI chip where the EXE one is. That's how I see it cause you should have a wk and a exe. Well you don't want to replace the exe with the wk so it has to be the other way. I would call them just to be sure.

 

I'd recommend sending an e-mail to Pettit maybe?

BTW... I LOVE your Swedish Fish... so chewy and yummy!

 

there are only 2 chips in the box in the pettit chip size, bun non are .exe just .exc

I have sent pettit an other mail. didnt got any answer on the last one.

I asked Pettit about it and they said not to buy it. He said I was wasting my $50 and would only sell it to me if I understood this and twisted his arm.

All the limited chips are maped for the same exact mods. Intake, DP, HF Cat, HF exaust. Fuel cut is at 14.7lbs which he stated is 100% injector duty cycle. Unlimited chips only remove fuel cut and the maps are exactly the same.

This is from Pettit: If you are going to replace the injectors and the fuel pump to raise the boost higher than 14.7 lbs, then get a stand alone ECU like the Apexi PFC.
