Hello, I just had some questions regarding the Pettit Cold air intake. Right now I have the Greddy Airinx intake, but it is broken and trashed. I also have the stock IC, but I'm in the process of looking for a new one. I would like to get either the Greddy SMIC or a PFs medium IC. Anyways what I want to know is will either or both of these IC's fit with this intake kit. Also I wanted to know do i need the stock intake pipes because I don't have them I just have the ones for the Greddy intake. Do you think the Greddy pipes will work with the Pettit intake filters and kit? If anyone has the Pettit intake kit could you maybe tell me what size the fitment is that attaches to the piping. Thanks

If you're going with an open intake, you might also consider the Fighter's Garage version. I think it's a cleaner design but much less expensive and with hard pipes. My only caveat is that I've never actually seen it with a PFS IC, but I'm pretty sure it would work with it or the Greddy.

The pettit will also work with the greddy smic. IMO, the pettit intake is probably the ugliest intake made for the FD. You could fab the same intake with the same k&n filters for less than $100. I have it on my fd and cant wait to get rid of it.
