Maybe its because I have the efini y-pipe also but it sits kind of awkward.

Did you cut your Efini crossover pipe? If not, then that's probably your problem. The IC is made to use the stock crossover pipe. I had to cut about an inch or more off my Efini crossover to get it to fit.

EDIT: I'm assuming you are using the old style CoolCharge II?

Yup. So there is no way getting this thing on without modifying the efini otherwise?

It looks like you removed the crossbar that the original IC sat on. Put that back (the CoolCharge will rest on it), and then cut the Efini crossover bar about 1 to 1.5 inches. If you are using the stock elbow, you might have to cut about .5 inch of it to get a confortable fit.

Do you think those lines would be damaged being that close to the intercooler?

Having any wires sitting next to another part like that could cause problems. Rubbing is always bad.

As Monkman33 mention, yes. The IC will most likely move a little as the car does shakes around. It will eventually rub and/or break those wires.

I am not sure how the crossbar looks like but I am pretty sure I didn't remove it. I only removed my stock intercooler along with the duct. Anyone have a picture of it?

It's just a bar that connects the two sides of the engine bay. It's not structural, it's just there for mounting some SMIC's (mainly the stock IC). Can you remove your Pettit IC and then take a picture looking down into the engine bay?

You may still have it on the car, but the length of the Efini crossover pipe may be pushing your IC past it onto the fans.
