issues:

Koyo sits too high in the bay so the fan shroud needed to be cut down. The intercooler shroud had to be cut down a bunch. The intercooler pipes no longer lined up due to the height so I had to cut them down too.

I was originally told that an apexi intake would work...not a chance. Wish I hadn't dented it a bit or I'd sell it as new on ebay.

I got some metal intake pipes from Gotham and it made the install a bit easier. I couldn't use the lower pipe from gotham.

I reviewed several intake set ups but opted for the pettit as it let me keep my mini battery in the stock place....plus nothing else would fit and M2s arent available anyway. I had to cut off the top of the pettit "heat shield" as it doesnt fit with a koyo. Grrrrrr Oh well. There was a lot of swearing during this project.

I dont see how air gets up to the filters from that crack next to the radiator. Im getting high intake temps on the pfc. I'm working on a ram air project from the passenger side oil cooler slot.

Keeping the smog pump made the intake system really tight....in fact the pettit intake really doesnt fit in my car right now. I'm going to either have to remove the pipe manifold they supply and replace it with hose...or remove the smog pump.

The air pump makes a lot of noise...pettit supplies a muffler system of sorts for it..but it still sounds like ***. So I replaced their muffler with one my company sells. It does a fantastic job. I am testing it for heat worthiness.

Well, it was all worth it. The car pulls really really hard now. Spool up is outstanding. Car is so much faster than before....Just had a down pipe and the apexi to compare to.

Average freeway temps 90 water, 67 air. City is horrible as I need to install ducts for the radiator. The vented hood made it a bit better but the top of the intercooler blocks a lot of the vent

A word about Atihun:

http://www.atihun.com

I can not say enough good stuff about this guys products. The hood required absolutely no work at all. I had to enlarge the holes in the hinge about 1/8 " to bring the hood forward a bit, but that was it. It takes a few weeks of heat to make the hood lay correctly...its only 2 days old in the pics and you can see it lays pretty good. The shipping was first rate. The box was well padded and fit the hood perfectly. In fact I put my stock hood in it for storage. The hood is very stiff so I doubt i will need hood pins. The edges are all sanded smooth and the painter said it would require little prep. Thanks Atilla!!!
