It's been a while, but IIRC I removed the sensor just above it first.

Its either 17 or 19mm I forget. I use a stubby wrench on it.

its 17 i changed one a few weeks ago. i had the alternator off at the time for other reasons. space is limited so u can only wrench it a few degrees at a time, the wrench required flipping after each turn so it would fit back on.
