for people who has eliminated their AST

I was just wondering if anyone who has this on their cars, actually had any problems? I have heard a lot of bad things about this but it seems more of their perference than them actually having a bad experience. IF you own one can you tell me how many miles you put on it and any problems? thanks everyone!

I removed my AST due to installing an M2 medium intercooler in May. Don't have that many miles on since then, but so far no problems. I also installed the M2 radiator to help with cooling and as a safety precaution. The stock one has plastic end caps that are prone to fail.

I also got rid of my AST when I installed my Medium IC--which was 3 or 4 years ago. I haven't had any problems...but I also live in the PNW and it never gets super hot here.

My AST was removed over a year ago and I put about 10,000 miles on my car. I never experienced any problems. Also, KD Rotary does this mod to pretty much all the cars they work on, even on cars that have over 500 hp. I talk to Dave about any problems removing the AST and he said there isn't any problems when the AST is eliminated.

I've had mine removed for about 2 years now and I live in steamy hot SW Florida. No problems.
