Peeps w/ Twin Power

I have just finished the install of the twin power. During start up and idle I noticed that the LED is not that bright and flickers a bit.

Does anyone else see the same thing? Just checking if that is normal. Its a new unit so I think it might be.

No flickering here, and the light is bright.

bought mine used, and the light does not flicker. I would not call mine bright, but on that note, I usually see the light from the side, not straight on, and in daylight.

I will also try a different/or maybe a better ground. But I think it is working because my break up is gone at all boost levels. I should have installed this thing ages ago. Watched my air/fuel ratios and they stayed the same, still to rich (10.9:1 under boost). But now I can pull 1.1 bar all the way to red line in all gears, well not fifth yet. I couldn't do that eariler, it would just fall on its face.

Wow, I am pleased with it.

Sanded away at some paint and rewired my ground. The LED is still not as bright as I would expect but the flickering went away. I know it is working because all my high end miss is gone. The car is very fast now. WOW. Knock is low. AFRs are rich. Things are coming along.

I have also noticed improved gas mileage and my coolant temps are a few C higher. I would expect higher temps due to me actually revving the car more and running higher boost levels all the way to red line. Plus a better burn (hotter spark) in the combustion chamber helps the higher temps to. Another thing I noticed was that my gas mileage had increase. I didn’t expect it to, but I like it. Right now I have noticed 30 more miles to the tank with me driving it harder then usual.

Just wrapping things up.

Thanks
