I searched around but nothing relevant came up for PCV or PCV Valve. Mine was pretty brittle and it broke at the base today while working on the car. Can I replace it with an auto parts PCV valve or is this a dealer only item?

Heres the diagram. Its the one from the oil filler neck to the UIM.

You should have no problem with a cheaper one.

Block it off. If you have the line running down from the filler neck to the primary intake elbow still there, the one to the UIM isn't really necessary.

 

Thanks Mahjik. I blocked it off because its one less line to mess with in that small area. Everything else is stock, so this is the only line I've eliminated. The auto parts stores around me didnt carry or even list a PCV valve for our cars. I picked up a metal one from the shelve with the same dimensions as the stock one but didnt open it after reading Mahjik's reply. Good timing
