BRIT NEWBIE LOOKIN FOR HELP ?

i`VE BROKEN OFF PASSENGER WING MIRROR HOW DO I REMOVE THE MIRROR HOLDER PART AS I NEED TO STRIP OUT INTERNAL TO REPAIR STEM ?

ALSO REV COUNTER VERY IRRATIC ( MAYBE A LOOSE CONNECTION ) ANY HINTS OF WHAT TO LOOK FOR ?

 

Stop using so many caps... first take the mirror off and it should be self explanatory. When you open the door corresponding with the broken mirror there will be a black triangle pop that off and unscrew the connnector, take the door panel off and unplug the plug off, self explanatory.


As for the erratic rev it could be numerous things such bad guage or bad crank sensors.. But please chill with the caps, it seems every newbie think they will get their point across with caps, that just gets people aggrivated..

 

Thanks for the advice but I dont think I explained the problem clearly I need to get inside the actual mirror unit to repair the broken stem and I need to remove the mirror backing part to get at the internals

As for the rev counter I found it was due to a low battery? as the problem went after I recharge it

a heat gun will help you get the mirror off.
