What is the differance in the finish? I emailed no answer, I planned to use the factory leather cover so will a 94/5 for my 93?

The handle is metal. You need to transfer over your existing cover or get an aftermarket piece of leather.

The difference is the base of the handle. The 93 is not textured while the 94-95 is. So I'd say it will work, just wouldn't really match up with the rest of your plastics (unless youve upgraded to the newer plastics in the rest of your interior, of course).

I can take a pic of my 94 sbg handle when I get home if you want to see what I'm talking about. Let me know

The 94 is textured to match the 94 finish, the 93 is smooth to match the 93 interior. In all honesty you really won't notice if you don't match the handle to your interior finish. There's only a tiny portion of the handle's finish that's visible.

Seems like it's a waste of time to me. Take a look at the handle that's already installed on the plastic. See that little sliver of silver? That's the only part of the handle that will be visible, and only when the doors opened. But do whatever works best for you.
