hi everyone, i have searched and i did not really get the answer i was looking for. i was simply wondering why my 95 fd has a airbag on/off key switch tucked inside my glove box. while installng my alarm i found that it had a red wire connecting to a fuse under the driver side fuse box. im pretty sure its not factory, but is it?

also im replacing my steering wheel and would like to disable both drive and pasenger air bags. so i simply remove the airbag ecu stated in numerous threads correct?
