HI LIM/Vacume Leak = Lower Compression Numbers?

I dont think this has been covered before, does anyone have proof/know that if you had a leak in your LIM that your compression numbers would read lower then normal? If so, how off would it be?

I don't think there will be an effect on compression numbers. The LIM is on the intake side and you are taking your compression numbers from a "sealed" area or the compression side of the rotor, they are separated. The rotor still going to suck air in and compress it as it should. Don't know how to explain it better, may be some one else shim in.

The vacuum leak will not affect compression numbers.

Compression is created inside the engine, you can remove the LIM completely and it will not effect compression. A leak will effect the idle and boost stability.
