I have acquired a 94 that was used as a track car, and discovered the passenger airbag was removed, and the cover has been left sitting and somehow it does not fall out. Has anyone figured out a way to secure the cover in a clean way?

I know you can gut the airbag out of the cover but still leave the frame so it can bolt in. It bolts in from underneath with a number of 12mm bolts.

If it's just the outer skin you may need to make a bracket of some kind and bond it to the cover.
