Your inspector is an idiot. There is no "parking brake shoe". If it's loose, tighten per the FSM

Right. That's why he won't be touching my FD!

I tightened it yesterday and it feels a bit better. Any suggestions for how to know when it's tight enough without being engaged all the time? The FSM says 7 clicks of the handle, but that's not really clear instruction....
