P2M Rear Lower Control Arms

So I’m in need of new pillow ***** and J-Auto is on crazy back order. I’m looking at these P2M arms with pillow *****. Seems cheaper to get the whole arm from P2M. Anyone have anything to say about these arms? And are the pillow ***** replaceable? Inevitably they will go bad and when that happens can I put any pillow ***** in? Like OEM or J-Auto? Any other suggestions?

a friend of mine got a set of p2m arms for his sc300 and they broke under normal conditions.

hardrace has a set that replaces the whole arm situation in the rear. the only pillow ***** you will have left will be in the rear upper arm.

These are very nice but I don’t think I want spherical bearings. That’s scary that his arms broke, I wonder if they’re thinner though. Maybe I’ll have to stick with the OEM arms and just wait for the. J-auto pillow ***** to restock

Now that you know it's all the same, buy the hardrace arms and be done with it 👀👀👀

Why not stop trying to go cheap and replace the bushings now..either J-Auto or OEM.
Cost and price are two different things.

Yeah I’d been planning to go J-auto. I thought I mentioned but J-Auto is on back order. 2-4 weeks. I was only considering P2M because they’re available.

If J-Auto is out of stock of their pillow ball bushings and you want them now, get them from Mazda. The only difference is the Mazda ones cost a little more. They perform identically.

Aftermarket arms really only make sense for DEDICATED race cars. They are typically not as long lived, have heim joints that can clunk, you name it. It's not worth doing on a street car.

That’s what I read which lead to my misunderstanding of the hardrace arms. That and I mixed them up with the diff bushings. My car needs quite a bit so I’m constantly looking up multiple things at a time. I would like to track the car a bit eventually though. Do you think the stock arms will hold up? They seem pretty solid.

Stock arms will hold up fine. Get new seals if your’s are cracked or stiff, they don’t cost much. And be sure to keep grease behind the seals. The grease keeps moisture and dirt out and prolongs the bushing life.
