Overheat!!!!!!!!!
hey guy my car over heated yeasterday . becsue a hose fell off and drained all the rad fuilids. i saw steam and looked at the stock gage and it was at red in matter of seconds. hope i didnt' **** anyhtign up. but how much coolate does the car take i put 3liters in sofar and the ligth on the gages stays on . any help is great .

You're going to need to put in more than 3 liters. And you'll need to "burp" the coolant system. Do a search on that to find different techniques.
EDIT: Just saw your last post. Coolant being forced out of the overlook tank is not a good sign. Might want to do a check in the coolant filler neck for the "champagne bubbles".

ok got the beeping and ligth off burped it. will go check the champagne bubbles thign do i do that when it is running?
how do i know if the motor is pooched or not hart to tell if their is white smoke comign out the back when it is -15c out side

ok. stood there for a min it with the filler cap off and saw like 12 bubbles they came now and then but not steady. what does that mean ?

If the bubbles are big, it may be you still have air pockets in the coolant system. The "champagne bubbles" are usually pretty small (like their namesake). Pull the TB coolant line (do a search for its location) and fill until coolant flows out the hose. Then drive the car with the heater on full blast for a few minutes to circulate coolant through the heater core. If you have coolant being forced out the overflow after driving for a while, it's a bad sign that your engine o-rings are toast, and rebuild time is near.

Takes about 2 gallons to fill maybe a bit less with the stock rad.
If you have a temp gauge wait for the coolant to get to around 185f or hot enough for the thermostat to open. Once the desired temp is met open the cap and look for bubbles. If there's a problem you will see a continuous stream of small bubbles if you don't see any bubbles then your fine
