I'll just say that I am no n00b, and my post count is not reflective of my level of knowledge.

So you're seriously going to say that this guy let his car run until it hit 266*F, comes here and asks why that is a problem, and we should continue to humor this type of question without a degree of annoyance?

How is that any different from me posting that my engine locked up, I checked the oil and found 2 quarts, someone tells me the engine needs to be replaced and I argue with them and ask them why they think I need a new engine when all I did was run it low on oil?

 

listen, people come on here for help, not for ******** to be dicks about it.....if u dont want to help then DONT! i dont need anyone questioning my intelligence because quite frankly im a really smart guy when it comes to other ****, but engines, im sorry but i didnt go to school to be a ******* mechanic which is why im on here asking "stupid "questions about my car......and honestly i thank gmonson and everyone who helped me out, but i fixed my car and all that was the issue was that it needed to be "burped"
