Outta gas....now it won't start
#26
the one time i flooded mine, i tried all of the std unflooding procedures that i read about (removing plugs, a little ATF fluid in the rotor housings, cranking it until the gas dissipates, replacing plugs, etc.) and none seemed to work. then i ran across a thread or an article that said to spray a VERY SMALL amount of starting fluid (about a 1-sec spray) into the intake manifold nipple (the one most commonly used for an aftermarket boost gauge). as a last resort (before going to seek professional help), i tried it and voila!! the car started right up. luckily, i did it at night because after doing the std procedure with ATF a couple of times, i know i had a good bit of ATF in the housings 'cause it smoked like a bitch for a good many minutes
...good luck...

Well, I got new plugs overnighted. I tried those and it wouldn't start still. So I checked all of the fuses, and out of desperation, I turned the key one last time before lighting it on fire....and what do you know...started right up. Problem was that the old plugs were ****, and the new ones didn't get fuel right away, so now its fine. Thank you for all of your advice. Thanks flybye..
