Outrageous stumble at WOT

in the midst of trying to solve my problem of poor idle, reduced primary, crazy o2 readings, and wether or not it is normal to haev the pipe from airpump that pumps air into acv, suck air in with no air pump. I thought some of these things may be related. so here is the latest. The other day during a WOT run, I had a huge stumble at maybe 5k. I mean it was like I compleyely let off the gas or something or engine shut down.

THis has happened beofre, but wuickly went away, as it did this time. I knwo some of you guys have experienced this, can you enlighten me as to what the problem was?

Thanks in advance

I've had the same ridiculous stumble. It was like the engine shut off for a second or something...then the car takes off like a rocket. I posted about it and had no responces. Still waiting for some rotary genius to enlighten us...I am hoping that it is a fouled plug or something and my fresh plugs in the spring will eliminate problem. My plugs are 7k miles old but my car was badly flooded for a few days and they definitely got wet. How old are your plugs and has anything happened so that they might have gotten fouled up a little.

Mine did the same thing....it was my plugs, they were really fouled up.
I also discovered that my battery ground was loose, which wasn't
helping...

Good Luck!

I had a problem somewhat similar to these. My car would stumble throughout the whole RPM range during any kind of decent accleration. Turned out to be the Throttle Position Sensor (tps). If the plug is loose or the wires are a little touchy, it will cause problems. Pull the plug out and put it back in tightly.

Also, check the hose going into the bottom of the boost sensor (i believe). It sits on the firewall near behind the throttle body. If that is off a little it will also cause a stumble problem.
