I wonder what kind of wheels those are? The two lips that are damaged can look repairable.

One less 94 Silver R2 on the road. Sad but makes mine that much more coveted.

Just read the link, that shop is local to me. Maybe I will swing by at some time and introduce myself.

Track. One has since shut down. he made enough money while working out of his parents land with a shop built on it and hired a few great fabricators and laborers. but his parents sold the property and he leased a place down town, then realized that he was going to have to charge alot more money to break even... eventually.

then decided that what he would have to charge wasn't what he wanted to do from a moral standpoint and debt was piling up. he decided to liquid date and get out of debt then start fresh again at another time.

one of those too big too fast type deals.

But the owner (Mike) still has that FD shell and still plans to build it.

Im sure there are probably 55-60 left with clear title. My 94 will turn 63,000 miles tomorrow on my 600 mile round trip I am taking. I do know that of the very few silver 95 R2s one has an odometer discrepancy on the title and another is salvage title. I searched for a long time for a low mileage 95 silver R2 and had no luck.

How it's advertised the same as when it came out of the water is beyond me. If you look at the thread John "RENESISFD" posted, the guy got more than knuckles deep into the chassis...
