OS Giken push/pull help!

So i recently bought a OS giken TS2B clutch for my FD, and upon trying to install the conversion kit, i noticed my kit does not have a spring between the release base, and the part that holds the release bearing. Every other picture of this part has what appears to be a pretty beefy spring in that spot, so i called OS giken and sent them some pictures. They told me that i dont need it. I just find that hard to believe if EVERY other install ive seen has it. Could anyone point me in the right direction as to what to do about this? Ive attached pictures to show you what im talking about. Thanks for the help.

Not an owner of this product. What purpose would that spring serve if it was there? Wouldn't the pressure plate return the throw out bearing position regardless if the spring is there or not? Does yours have the provisions for the spring? Maybe they decided it was no longer needed?

No spring on this one.

Thats the first one ive seen that doesnt have it. I guess they could have decided it wasnt needed anymore. Thanks for finding that.
