opinions needed-engine rebuild

Guys,

Cars blown a coolant seal - was going to get a rebuild kit from Rotary Aviation or similar, but just been on the phone to another supplier and have been told the coolant seal would have gone because the housing will have definately rotted through so will need a new housing and possibly a new rotor too.

Is this the case? If so this is going to be expensive....

Not necessarily. You really won't know what can or can't use until it's all apart.

If you have to replace housings and rotors, yes it can be expensive. New housings and rotors run about $600 USD a piece.
