Flaken tyres are notorius for not lasting long, they are the cheapest performance tyre you can purchase. If money is a consideration, they are a great bang for a buck. however, if you wanta real tyre I suggest something else like the new S03, or AVS, PZero, Dunlop 9000s.

With the kind of power you will be putting down with your mp and IC, especially if you are using stock rims, get something better.

I don't know anything about the brake pads.

I have EBC Greenstuff's. But I haven't installed them yet. They smell like fish food.

Talking

bumpety-bump.

The reason I'm asking about the tires is I'm being offered some rims I absolutely love that have new Falken GRB II tires on them.

I'll post pics soon.

I had the old style of the Falken GRB II's on my old 18" TE-37's... the tread felt kinda squirmy at the limit before breakaway... not much warning, more like a squishy sensation... must be a belt issue withing the tire.. tread life wasn't that bad... about on par w/ any other Z-Rated tire I've had... 200 or so... I used to have the GreenStuff pads... nice, good feel, but not much additional braking power... low noise and low dust though. Hope this helps.
