Opinions on Boost Spike Issue

I recently installed some new turbos on the car and converted it over to full nonsequential. In the process I made a home dept valve boost controller and see initially 1 bar boost then the correct levels that I set (.7 bar now). Do you think a ball and spring controller would control the spike better or do I need to get an electronic controller to handle this issue? In the past someone mentioned the ball and spring controllers work much better but I wanted to check before I went out and bought/made one and ended up having to get something different. I was checking around on other posts and it seems that the boost controller I made does not work that well all the time so I was going to try the one below:

Car is running full exhaust, PFC, and I ported the wastegate before I put the turbos in the car. I have it tuned to 14 psi but don't really want to run that much on the new turbos. Opinions are appreciated

Did you port the waste gate ? A ball and spring ,with a light weight ball is better than the needle valve .

Get an electronic boost controller.

I would also recommend the ball-spring controller over the needle valve. Before you jump off and buy it though, do you have the second nipple of the actuator capped off right there? If not, try that first.

Yes, the second nipple( on the underside) is capped off on the actuator. I read that it can also be left open but have not tried that yet. The waste gate is also ported to maximum size. I will try and build that ball and spring controller and give it a whirl.
