Opening up Stock Airbox, which pipe material should I use?

Hi all,

I want to have my airbox modified like Rob Robinette's Poor Man's Intake. I already have a RB air inlet duct and a K&N intake installed. Before I start drilling 2" holes underneath my airbox, what hose material can I use to run. The site said aluminum tubing and not to install rubber hoses because it might collapse under vacuum. Can I use Silicone Vacuum Tubing? I can get a 2" dia Silicone Vacuum Hoses easy but I don't know if that'll work. Any info would be appreciated. Where the heck can I get aluminum tubing that I can bend?

Thanks,
Jason
