Oops...installed Apex t-timer, now car won't start??
Uhh...Ok, I just installed the Apex turbo timer in my FD, I pretty much followed the directions that were given in a thread here that I searched (instal info compiled from people w/ the Apex timer).
So I just followed those directions. I didn't tap into the o2 sensor, so I went ahead and just grounded the black wire.
I disconected the negative cable of the battery. While I was working on installing I could sort of here a clicking sound coming from the engine bay.
Well, I'm all done. I turn the key, it's clicking, but the car isnt turning on. I double check my connections, everythings connected. Did I do something wrong, or is my battery dead (oh yeah, and the battery is pretty old, it has crud on it).
When my key is in, the lights are on, etc....but if I turn my reading lights on, it comes on very slow, I guess a sign the cars not getting enough juice.
So what do you think it is? Did I install it wrong? Or hows about I get a new battery?

Check all the fuses/relays under the hood. There should be one box near the driver side shock tower and one under the plastic IC/Intake duct. A friend shorted something out when installing his Turbo Timer and blew one of the main ignition fuses. If they all check OK then check the battery, try getting someone to jump you just to see if it'll start. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip jr. I just check the fuse relays next to the battery, they check out ok. I didn't know about another fuse box under the intake i/c duct though, I'll check that out later.
But for now, I'm almost certain its the battery, its gotta be. That thing has seen better days. Hehe. Thanks.

So if the the dashlights and what not still go on when i turn the key, does this mean my battery is still good? The lights seem weak though?
I'm going to try and get my battery checked if its still good, if not, buy a new one. Anybody else have any ideas?
