One Lap of America?

Does anyone know anything about the Rx-7 competing in the One Lap race? Gregory Stasiowski & Dale Black are the guys names if that helps.

Thanks

If you follow the big RX7 list you would know these guys. Dale and Greg both have FD's, Montego Blue and Silver, respectively, and have them modded to the beJesus (but still using twin turbos I think). For some reason, they have used Gregs car every time they entered the race. I've met Dale at least once and I can say he is a true rotorhead - and he does a service to the RX7 community as president of the West Penn RX7 club.

It is awesome to see that they are doing so well... as of last night they were in 5th place (2nd in the SSGT2 class) with one event to go. That event should be nearly over right now [Saturday early evening] but the results aren't on the One Lap site yet so I don't know the what happened yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Whatever the results, these guys should be commended for representing the RX7 so well.

this could not have been more true. i have been following the race for about 4 years and thought that it looked like it had gotten easier. well, according to the site, it got much harder this year.

i would not want to be on the receiving end of what this rally of races will inflict....driving all day, night, not sleeping, and having to be track ready......not to mention that something is bound to go wrong with the car...
