omp + premix = lotsa startup smoke?

a while back, i found out my oil injectors weren't functioning completely. i started premixing with MMO just to be safe. well, i put new injectors in and still premix a little to be on the safe side. here lately, i've noticed a lot more smoke on startup than usual. it's usually a blueish cloud, so i'm pretty sure it's oil. would the extra oil in the combustion chamber be what's causing this? i'm also pretty sure my plugs are about gone too. just a little curious what others' takes are

if your oil injectors are new then you shouldnt premix. The only people who premix are people with old oil injectors who dont know if they are functioning or people who have eliminated them. How much do you still premix.

Id say its extra oil and you should just stop premixing.

i was just doing it to be on the safe side and giving some time to make sure the new injectors fixed my problem.

i'm only mixing about 2-3 ounces every fill up. my typical fill is anywhere from 13-15 gallons.

i think i'm gonna hold off for a while and see if it clears up. might improve my idle quality a little as well, lol

I've never used MMO for premix, but I've never had any smoking problems when using Pettit's Protek premix.

Ive used the MMO as a premix, and got a nice amount of smoke upon startup. I also tried the Protek, with no smoke upon startup. However, with the MMO, if I premix the day before the car's vaccum would increase by 1-2 lbs. Ive stopped premixing, just once a month I add some MMO on a fillup.
