OMP Delete - What to do with the gear?

Hey guys, I'm deleting my OMP and going to premix (well, more premix than I was already premixing).

I have a block off plate, but what do I do about the spur gear inside the front cover? It's dark in my garage, but it looks like the gear is held on with some clips.... should I take the gear off? Will it hit into anything if I leave it in? What about the two dimes trick some people seem to like?

Thanks,
B

I left the gear in why I blocked off mine. I've driven on it for 5k+ mils and haven't had anything go bad.

Have fun looking like a idiot at gas stations

haha, Isn't that the truth. People think that you are retarded when you're getting oil out of your trunk or bin and putting it in your gas tank. What make it worst is that you look like and **** idiot when you are constantly checking the side of the bottle for the level mark making sure you are adding in the right amount for the amount of fuel you are adding during your fill up...
