Mine just turned 84, on her original heart. Her turbos are sagging a bit and leaking a little milk on her primary...so sad...

WHat is the worth of a sub 40k mile FD? I have a 95 135k and it sucks to drive that car with the shity roads around.

I was wondering if replacing all bushings and getting rid of the stiff differntial solid ones will help. Congrats BTW.

I would like to be in terested in the mileage and in a way I am but then I only see it as the climb towards a rebuild. Maybe I am just cynical when I see rebuilds at 30K, 40k, 60k etc. Then most important to me is how many miles since the rebuild !! But many happy returns on her 40th.

yea i held my breath breaking 100k

but supposedly had engine rebuild before 60k

Red '94 R2 mostly stock except downpipe

daily driver for last 13kmi (since owned), cant live a day without boost

running strong but uber paranoid... oil smoking on top of rear turbo, all rubbers air/water hoes need to be replaced

at 40k... hasn't even gone through puberty yet. good to know there are still some low mileage cars out there

210 km is about 130 miles. thats still a lot more than the people taking bout their 40 and 50k on this topic

but man you have 336 000km on an FD, thats crazy!!

can you imagine how many thousands liters of fuel that car has burned ?

If my engine lives to that I'll be happy. Its currently at 155,000 KM (93,000 miles). Its gonna do some serious track time next year.

Mine's at 145,000 miles and still going strong. Oh, that's right, on its 3rd engine. No problem, I still love it. Repainted a couple of years ago, wheels powder coated a nice competition silver metallic to match my Z06 wheels. Still gets lots of comments and people can't believe it's 14 years old. I'll never part with this car. Purchased the 93 R1 new from the dealer in April, 1993 for $26,970. Best money I ever spent on a car...
