The old girl turned 40 today! With Pics!

Just thought I celebrate with you all my girl turning 40 today! Lookin' great for over the hill! No implants (original motor), just a few wrinkles (on the leather), and lots of fun still left in her!

I have yet to reach the 40k milestone. There's a crease or two, but the leather still looks good and we're humming along on the original engine.

Who sez the good die young?

How do you think i felt when i hit the magic 70k, especially from all the rumors that our engines most likely give out at 70-80k. lol

That interior has to be emaculate.
My drivers seat looks like it got ran over by a tank

Maybe I'm just fat.

The leather in the FD is thin and cheap. You'd be impressed if you saw mine. But it wasn't easy. You have to keep it conditioned and keep it out of the sun as much as possible. On hot days, if it's parked outside for a long time, I put a black towel over the driver's seat. For most FD's, the leather seats look like crap, or they've been reupholstered or replaced with aftermarket seats.

On the other hand, I've seen base cloth seats that look as good as the day they left the factory.

so forget about low miles, how about high miles? 159k on mine, 90k on second engine, still original turbos, still boosting 10 psi, and only leaking a little.
