I have read posts before about speakers in the FD but I still hear different results.

Does anyone know what the sizes for the front/rear speakers are??

Also, what are the largest speakers that can fit in the ft/rear without any mods!!

I know that I could just rip off the covers but hey thats what this forum is for...right? LOL

 

6x8 custom speaker for ford and mazda

 

The factory size for the rears are 5 X 7. You could prolly get 6 X 8 with a bit of work. I just replaced my rears with some Boston FX8 they are 5 X 7. All i can say is DAMN these speakers sound awesome. Im going to go with Bostons for the rest of the system too.

 

what is in the doors on the bose package? are they 6x8's?

what can fit.... Door 6.5 if the magnet is short
rears 5.25...little custom work ofcousre..maybe even 6.5's but you will need a new custom bracket.
