Is it ok to run exhaust without PFC?
If you get an exhaust, you'd better invest in a PFC. Otherwise you may find yourself rebuilding the motor. Then get you car tuned and you'll be alright. Plus, the PFC is probably the best investment you'll ever make.
You can run any mod you want, as far as I know, as long as you can keep your max boost levels to 10psi. When you add a dp and cb, you'll probably see boost spike. If you add a midpipe, you'll probaby see boost creep. Go ahead and invest in a manual boost controller to keep your boost at a reasonable level. With your current mods + catback, I don't think the expense of a PFC is mandatory.
I had a RB dual Cat back and Blitz intake. Before I put on my Pettit Downpipe I started to see spikes in my boost (11 to 12 psi) so before I installed my Pettit DP I installed a Hallman boost controller to keep my boost at 10 and it holds boost perfectly!!! I ordered the controller that puts the boost control **** in the cockpit. It is MUCH easier to adjust when your trying to set it the origional boost setting. The link below shows the controller.

You can run an intake, downpipe, and catback all day long on the stock ecu, as long as boost levels are maintained at 10 psi.
