ok help me please

I am looking at a certain rx7 and the buyer said that there is a slight problem. Every time the headlights are turned on the engine dies. Now the motor is brand new and everything works perfect mechanically but it is an electrical problem. Can someone please tell me what may be wrong and about how much it will cost?

Thanks

Wow

I have to say that is one of the craziest things I have heard to date. I know that third gens have a module that are supposed to bump up the idle under high electrical loads but stalling??

maybe a short to ground or cross short with your headlight circuit and ignition. bust out the electrical diagrams and the DVOM

no actually wonderland he didnt thank you. the owner thinks it has something to do with the ignition and the wiring cluster under there. I will tell him what you think and see what happens. Is this a strange enough issue to postpone buying the car?
