Stock BOV's, Modded?
Can we take the BOV hoses off the air box and let them blow out into the atmosphere, or do we have to keep them closed loop. Any way to get rid of that stupid blow-off sound with the stockers...

Wait, you want them to be quieter? Leave them connected to the air box -- they are a lot louder when you disconnect them. Or perhaps you are just a clever owner looking to reduce intake temps as much as possible, hmm...

What I am saying is the stock blow off sounds cheesy. I would like to get that psssshhhhh noise from the stockers. Basically I want to cheat and not do the I/C piping with the nice Turboxs BOV. I am going to do all of that later but the stock sound of the BOV"S sucks.

Yeah, just rip that sucker off, cap the hole in your intake box and you'll get a loud as hell whoosh sound. Did it to mine and I love it. =)

Many have vented them to the atmosphere, but I have never heard a conclusive answer about whether you risk some dirt intake with that setup. Be sure to plug the air box holes.
