FCON no
FCON-S yea sorta
FCON-V Pro yes if you have a pro dealer near you that can tune it.

I'm a very pro HKS guy but I'd say wait for the PFC.

Remember only HKS Pro dealers have the program to tune the FCON S and V Pro....the software is not available to the public. So basically you can't pull a FnF with the lap top in the passenger seat.

The FCON V is really really good but like chucAI said he couldn't tune it, didn't have the tech support for it. What ever you can get tuned is the best system for you.

How come ever one says the PFC is on backorder
when www.jt-imports.com has them in? I dont get it..

FCONV--- Is nice.. A lot of Shops use them in Japan. This is another for Jason in Japan, he can get them directly from FEED tuned to your specifications.. Then maybe the next time you change an engine part you can send it back for little or no fee, or if new parts are way off, maybe by that time someone here in the states will be able to tune them...

Rotaryknight, in your opinion what would be better if you could have both the power fc and the F-Con V professionally tuned. Say the power fc was tuned by XS and the FCon by SP engineering.

What can the FCon V do that the power fc can't or vice versa??

The PFC is easier start up due to the base maps in there. But it is still somewhat limited to the stock sensors.

The FCON V can create complete custome maps as well as controll additional injectors. The FCON V uses external sensors (pressure, temp, etc) The resolution of the mapping is also bigger.

The downside is that the FCON V is not plug and play unless you have a map put in buy the Pro Dealer you buy it from. As the PFC has a base map for stock turbos FMIC etc....the FCON V is a blank slate.

If you buy it you could have the Pro dealer put in a basic map IF they have one created for it....basically HKS does not put any base maps in there.

Another thing....personally even though I don't like to tinker too much after I get it dyno tuned some people do and the PFC has the commander which gives them partial accest to the maps....also the commander has it's gauge and playback functions that I like.

HKS FCON V you can't do diddly squat to it. It is a personal preferece.....like I said whatever you can get tuned.

AND remember the old FCON DO SUCK! It's the newer FCON V Pro that I feel is the competition to the PFC.

Hell the old FCON didn't even control timing like the Pro does.
