I have a question. Why not replace the mid pipe? If you replace it dont you get more HPS? Does it do something funny to your low end power i dont know about?

mid pipes tend to add HP up high and can on some cars make less low end power.

I am already a fairly accomplished road racer but have done all my events in an s4, heavy with HUGE power down low. I'm not sure that the rx needs a suspension upgrade, maybe some r compounds, I already did SS brake lines, do the stock brakes really fade?

I have been roadracing a dedicated 93 rx7 racecar since 1997 and have tried everything to get some more go off of tight corners. I have run stock mtrs, ported mtrs, single turbo, non &seq. turbo and my advice is this:
get custom gears for each track, or put in a Z06 V8 . I plan to do the v8 this winter if i can find a donor z06.

once u put that z06 v8 in it wont be an rx7, it will not drive like one for sure, even if u get the 50/50. its just physically not possible u might as well sell your fd and go buy a z06

Oh yeah, 102,250 miles with 9% of the miles from track driving...63 days since 1997...

Car wont' be stock in 2003...actually looking into intercoolers, intakes, computers...this is all foreign stuff...!
